An unusual Georgian (just) wood shoe snuff box dated 1836 replete with brass pique work throughout, including 3 hearts, laces, the back of the shoe (counter), and the sole. The wood used (oak?) is unusual.

3.5in (9cm) long.

Condition: in very good condition with the only issue that the lid slides backwards as well as forwards because the pin to stop it sliding backward is worn.
